Sleeping pills offer a quick-and-easy fix

A song from Mighty Culture - written in the space between rest and unrest, pills and poetry.

[Verse 1]

Continual body contact provided by soft mattress

But the lack of support can cause the neck and spine to sag

The level of firmness should relate to your body weight

The heavier you are, the firmer it should be

Uninterrupted

[Chorus]

Sleeping pills offer a quick-and-easy fix

Temporary answers

Many of them have side-effects

Sleeping pills offer a quick-and-easy fix

Sleeping pills!

Plants need the soil

Plants need the soil, which contains their food.

They must also have water and the light and warmth of the sun.

Plants take in food and water through their roots, and sunlight through their leaves.

[Verse 2]

I'm feeling well, I'm carefree

I feel safe and relaxed

I get up with caffeine or tobacco

I make sure I'm reasonably cool

I try to avoid upsetting activities

My bedroom is kept exclusively
